Boxing Day 2011 was a good one for electronics upgrades. One of the upgrades was a camera: I jumped into the world of DSLR photography. This page is a collection of my favorites from amongst the many pictures I take as I learn.
I'm a nature lover (one needs something to take pictures of!) and I really enjoy the fresh air, solitude and relaxation, and exhilirating exercise that come with getting out in nature for a hike. This page is a dedication to the East Coast Trail, a beautiful set of hiking trails on the Avalon Peninsula of NL, and to any other hikes that Heather and I undertake.
Over the course of the past couple of years, I have been making the move to a paperless classroom. Part of that move is the use of blogging technology and the storage of materials online. Here you can find notes, assignments, worksheets, answer keys, and whatnot that pertain to the courses I teach (password protected, of course!)
I have been a music fan and collector all my life. Over the past couple of years, I have made the move to vinyl: the big, beautiful album art, the quality of the sound, and the feeling I have holding the physical product is something that is simply missing from the digital music experience. This blog is about my love affair with music: I'll attempt to post at least one review a week of a vinyl from my collection.
My twitter feed. I don't really use it beyond the odd targetted tweet or retweet, probably not very interesting to most folks!
This is the best way to contact me, I suppose!
